Our goal: CO2 savings in all processes

We reduce greenhouse gases already during the production of the materials.

CO2 cannot be sustainably reduced with a single measure. This already requires a comprehensive package: from products to operations and sales to involvement in sustainability initiatives.

That is why we develop innovative plastics that also achieve the desired product properties with less material input. Emissions that we cannot yet prevent, we compensate with the help of Gold Standard climate protection certificates. Leading experts also support us in sustainably improving all areas in the company.

Neutralise CO2with superpolymers

Great for the environment and great for you: our climate-neutralised PREMIUM PLUS garbage bags made from reduced-strength recycled film. By using superpolymers, we can save up to 30% of material and thus reduce CO2 emissions in production and transport. And this with consistently high tear strength. Residual emissions are then offset with climate protection certificates. This makes PREMIUM PLUS the most sustainable solution on the market – and the first choice for your environmental footprint.

We save emissions throughout the company

CO2 reduction affects every single area at DEISS. For example, we support our employees with subsidies for local transport tickets and free bicycles for hire. Alternatively, we also offer charging stations for e-cars and e-bikes. We are in the process of sustainably optimising our entire logistics. And our new headquarters meets the platinum status of the DBNG, "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen" (German Sustainable Building Council). This is how we create an environment that is sustainable from the ground up.

External know-how for internal change

In order to effectively reduce CO2 emissions, we first had the current footprint of our products and in the company calculated by independent institutes. This allows us to see exactly in which areas changes are particularly effective. In implementing the measures, we work closely with experts and initiatives, e.g. the "Allianz für Entwicklung und Klima" (Alliance for Development and Climate).
