Awarded for sustainability: DEISS receives esteemed silver medal from EcoVadis

Exceptional: With regard to the environment, DEISS is within the top eight percent of evaluated companies from within the plastic goods industry. EcoVadis also performs assessments in the areas of employment and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

EMIL DEISS KG (GmbH + Co.) was awarded the esteemed silver medal by EcoVadis, in recognition of its positive CSR rating. The EcoVadis CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Score von EcoVadis attests to DEISS' "ongoing commitment to responsible business, through the integration of social and environmental concerns into its business activities“. With regard to the environment in particular, the Hamburg company impressed with a score of 70 out of 100, thus placing it within the top eight percent of all companies within the plastics industry. In the overall evaluation, DEISS lies in the top 18 percent.

Since 2007, EcoVadis has been supporting companies in becoming more sustainable, and to this end uses a comprehensive system of ratings in the area of corporate responsibility, including assessing the implications in terms of environmental, workers' and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Together with EcoVadis, DEISS has already developed a new plan to further improve the CSR rating.
